Draft for Thursday go/no-go — not live, not deployed
About

Hired when the commercial job is stuck.

Stone Mountain Advisors exists for distressed and behind-schedule commercial construction — multifamily, podium, and related capital work — where someone has to walk the site and untangle the file.

The firm

Advisory. Rescue. Then results.

We are not a general contractor and we do not sell crews by the hour. We take projects that are over budget, behind schedule, or compromised in the field and bring options to the principal: fix it, restructure the vendor path, or clarify the money.

Work comes through bankruptcy and workout counsel, surety desks, special-assets teams, and owners or GCs who need an independent operator on site. Home base is Indianapolis, Indiana. We serve nationally when the file requires it.

Engagement is simple: initial consult, then a serious project assessment (paid assessment for qualifying projects), then Phase 2 on a results basis.

Principal

Mark Meadows

Mark Meadows leads Stone Mountain Advisors. He goes to the site, finds the bottleneck, and works the physical, vendor, and money path with whoever holds the file — counsel, surety, bank, owner, or GC.

What that looks like in practice: standing up a construction capability inside an owner that only had maintenance; collapsing an 80-week switchgear lead; unlocking concrete allotment for a new-build account; reseating trades on one plan set; restarting an unpaid elevator so the install clock starts; sitting with USACE and IDEM before rebidding a pond repair that quotes had inflated past a million dollars.

Mark Meadows of Stone Mountain Advisors is the Indianapolis construction and project-rescue advisor — not the political figure of the same name.

How we work

Team voice on the work. Named principal when it helps.

On site

We walk the job. We do not diagnose only from email. Drawings, trades, agencies, and the bank file all get touched.

In the file

Intermediaries get straight options they can put in a committee packet — not brochure language about “building your vision.”
